This week’s Christian Carnival #112 is up at Adam’s Blog. A blog carnival is a round-up of several blogs in a given category. Each blog submits an article, and the carnival host provides a short description and a link to each article submitted. It’s a good way to sample a lot of blogs in a hurry. Hosting rotates from week to week among the participating blogs. The Christian Carnival goes up each Wednesday.
I count 28 blogs participating this week. Some pretty heady topics, including:
• Servanthood does not mean being a wimp: “What Servant Leadership Is Not” at Give Your All for God.
• Abusive, controlling churches: “Why are Some Churches Too Controlling?” at Crossroads.
• Which divisions in the church are important, which are just silly: “Divisions and Diversity in the Church” at Random Acts of Verbiage.
• The modern church is drifting from emphasis on the blood of Christ: “Lift High The Cross!” at Random Responses.
• Another look at the Emergent Movement: “Strains Within the Emergent Church Movement” at Parableman.
• An idea for lent “that could change your financial futureâ€: “Early Sunday Thought: Lent” at Canadian Financial Stuff.
Take a look: Christian Carnival 112. For past or future Christian Carnivals, see the schedule and links at Wittenberg Gate.
I had never visited Adam’s Blog, this week’s carnival host. It is written by Adam and Andrea Graham of Boise City, Idaho. Adam is a young man who is a pro-life activist and involved in Idaho state politics. Andrea makes custom kilts for men (I’m not making that up). See King Kilts. That’s what I like about the blogosphere: you run into a lot of people in a lot of places who are into a lot of things — and amazingly, God loves every single one of us.
